You should visit India someday, we have much wider variety of wildlife on our street, and the best part is you can watch them year long and they will never attack you. :-D

Ya, but they're humans and you can't hunt them. Legally at least.

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

I would love to visit India as well. I like the attack bit as well though. Adds to the excitement...

It bites back however as this[^] reports. You go down a river full of crocodiles in an inflatable dinghy. What part of snap, snap, snap did they fail to appreciate. :)

If there is one thing more dangerous than getting between a bear and her cubs it's getting between my wife and her chocolate.

Uhm, your linked video was taken in Estes Park, Colorado. The "U.S. Route 36" highway sign was a dead give-away.

The internet really tests journalist. And apparently the BBC as well. I just google mapped Lakefront street which also shows in the video as a street sign. You are indeed correct Sir. It is indeed Estes Park Colorado. Now I want to go to Colorado. Thanks for pointing this out.

If you do go, I would suggest going during this time of the year. In the winter months, the air pollution along the front range (eastern side of the mountains where all the major cities are) can be miserable. But if you like brownish-orange colored air that burns your eyes and lungs, go for the Denver area when they are experiencing a temperature inversion with no winds.

Cows, buffaloes, goats and dogs are not considered wildlife in other parts of the world. ;P

Yea, September to October is the time to go if you want to see elk in populated areas. Soon after, the herds go up hill for winter and mostly disappear in the forests.
