Here's an ad for Toyota [^]in Australia. Bugger is a word that has many meanings. It's the context that is important. Hmm, I'm guessing as one of them says "phew, bugger me" that it implies that you do indeed take the same meaning as I would. Maybe it's just considered less offensive over there, or something (though again, it's context - someone saying "bugger me" to a child would be totally different) -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!
