How on earth are you supposed to pronounce PNG? I say Ping, but is there an official pronounciation? Or is it doomed into two camps like we have with the jif/gif people?

Please stop using GIFs in articles. They look like crap, especially if it's a screenshot of an XP-application (can you say dither?). And you shouldn't sponsor that crap company Unisys and their nazi licenses. There are other formats that can be used. PNG and JPEG works in most (if not all?) browsers. It's high time to bury GIF. Hah! If you squint your eyes a little, (and zoom in using a nice image viewer) you can pickup discreet changes in color along the gradient direction. It aint perfect! Shame on you.... :-D -- Ignorant people upsets me.
