I totally agree. It's such a shame. I don't see any reason for this passivity, except perhaps the will not to irritate China and its market of 1 billion of potential consumers

The US is being exploited by NK and Iraq. Our perceived power is being used by them to paint us as being tyrants when it is they who are tyrants.

If some punk picks a fight with your friend in a bar, will you stand idly by and let your friend handle it or will you help him out? Its not that they believe in the war, but they are willing to help a friend who just got sucker punched. I have no doubts that Saddam is helping terrorists. Either financially or with training it doesn't matter. If he has WMDs, he more than likely will give them to terrorists to be used against the US.

I agree. Even if nobody really wants the war, it seems to be inevitable. But I think that the US still tries to convince the rest of the world of the necessity of a war (especially the UN) for excusing their attack. But they don't seem to realize that the longer they argue the more the will of support is declining. Often changing reasons or giving new reasons for a war wont't help at all. So they should either give real, proved reasons or perhaps they better wait. The biggest problem I have is that I don't really know what to think. I fear Saddam has WMD and thus has to be stopped. But not having a real prove makes it difficult to completely support pro-war opinions.
