It's even harder when you're in the middle of the woods and it's cold and I'm in my down sleeping bag comfortably sleeping in my hammock.

Indoors was invented for that very purpose...
But if you like to hike, as I do there's only so many times you can go around the kitchen table before getting bored. Also nature has a way of distracting you and making it pleasant.
