background service/process

Hello, i am new in Android. i want to make 1 app which will give latitude and longitude using Network Provider. when i click on start button app must be start in background even thought i removed app from Active Application. inshort i have to make 1 process and 1 service which will be run in background. is there any solution , let me know. thank you
