Gee sorry to offend you David ! ( This really shows my ignorance as I honestly thought Canuck was an affectionate term) Shucks, but at least you folk have cold beer here. "BURP" Regardz Colin

Colin, I don't think I could put it better than this: http://www.comnet.ca/~dmarchak/boonews2.htm. Like so many other things in this world, it's just not clear what the hell it means. Speaking of cold beer... maybe I'll go get another :)

So how do you spell the term "hoser" then? ;P I keep hearing it used to describe Canadians and am wondering if it's a term of affection, or whether it would buy my the business end of a hockey stick. cheers, Chris Maunder

at least you folk have cold beer Colin, it's midday here and the temperature outside is a sunny -12C. Have you got stubby holders your neck of the woods? (foam sleeves you hold your beer in). Back home we use them to ensure the beer stays cool for longer. Over here I would imagine they use them to stop the beer freezing. Can you believe that a friend suggested we have an outdoor BBQ last night. I'm thinking Steak-cicles and beer slushies. Mad. cheers, Chris Maunder
