Your government, I mean the Australian one, stands firmly between the cow-boy, doesn't it? What's the feeling of the people? Do they support, disagree, not care about?

There have been some protests, but we Aussies mostly don't expect such things to work. We're just all watching cynically, the letters to the paper would indicate a 5:1 ratio at least with the majority against the war. I think a lot of people have their heads in the clouds, i.e. 'I dont want war, so Saddam must not want it either', but far more have their heads stuck in a bad 50's movie, and convinced you can tell who is good and who is evil by their accent. Good comment. It applies to all sides. IMO Until we stop (all of the above or) trying to find blame and just accept, this is where we are. Then everyone actually listening to each other (no one is right now! ) --> start working to solutions we are stuck. X| "I will find a new sig someday."
