We will have to wait until the Lost[^] season 7 comes out. On the serious note, it's crazy how our modern technology is so tiny against a large ocean. :| Now I am really concerned about flying, I though these people tracks every single plane. How the hell this happened?

Well it's being reported now that the engine data suggests the plane carried on flying for 4 hours after they lost radar contact. Also civilian 'radar' works on a transponder method where the plane sends data of it's position to the ground. It looks like this transponder was manually turned off. This is why the Military using what we traditionally think of as radar, were able to track it long after civilian radar lost it.

Be sure to check thoroughly, she could have hidden it anywhere.

It was reported that Chinese can see the plane's debris in their satellite.[^] ^The site is from Philippines.

                      Spot the aircaraft here[^] , here[^] or here.[^]

It was broke, so I fixed it.

It is tracked but the transponder is not sending out a high powered signal. Need to be close enough to detect it.

Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet. The interesting thing about software is it can not reproduce, until it can.

Maybe they should find an extinct (dormant?) volcano in Japan with a secret camouflaged sliding door. The aircraft can't use the secret camouflaged sliding roof because it needs a horizontal approach. that's Bond, James Bond ;)
