        You're right. I am an idiot. I've eaten basturma in Syria, Jordan and once in the UK.

                You sound like the Israeli authorities when I visited Jerusalem. :laugh: I lived in Amman for a couple of years. Visited Syria to see stuff mostly Damascus, eat the food etc, before everything went belly up over there.

                    Really beautiful, and the people were amongst the nicest I've met. They really don't deserve what's happened.
