Hi, we are facing Memory Leak issue from the beginning of Application deployed on the server. Suppose we restart the server, the memory usage will be decreased(25 or 30%). Then gradually it will increase. if it touches 100%, some of our Application EXE will be killed by the system. Memory Size is increased upto 100% within two days. I am a developer but in our System admin and me are analyzing this issue. When Physical Memory usage is 98% around 11.5 GB, in the task Manager -> Process -> Total size of the process is nearly 400 or 500 Mb only. We could not find where memory taking . Any suggestion appreciated. More Information About the Server. This is image server. Images are being accessed continuesly by other network client by using shared access as well as iis virtual path. Windows Server 2008R2 Enterprise Service Pack 1 Installed Memory 12 GB System Type 64bit Operating System

The first suggestion is to monitor your applications to find out which one(s) are leaking.

I had an issue with our file server that served up alot of image files look at kb976618 Use the program RamMap to let you know if your Metadata cache is using up all of your RAM. To fix this issue install Microsoft Windows Dynamic Cache Service
