3D printing, Od to plastic!

After spending the better part of the last decade implementing e-recycle fees on new purchases and diverting plastic waste from being sent to china, all in the name of them not burning plastic - we turn around and burn plastic for sport. Is burning plastic not the fastest way to trigger cancer? If so why is 3D printing not considered a major health risk?
