I am all alone today, no one there: my manager, ceo, Technical director, my team mate, testers etc etc. Thats what it feels when you work in a small firm. Either i am not informed or its a holiday. In both cases i am not informed :(. DAMN BORED !!!!

(MQOTD rules and previous solutions)Unless...it is a public holiday, in which case he is getting paid anyway and doesn't need to be there.

Perfect! Now is the time to "prepare" a few jokes: you have access to the false ceiling, so filling it with packing peanuts ready to drop them on someone is possible; gluing the telephone handset down; reversing mouse direction; ... And then go home so they don't know it's you...

I would call it opportunity ! Opportunity to indulge in to serious programming without worrying about interruption and useless meetings. Though only if as OG said its not public holiday which is not in India in my knowledge.

Hello Sir, I went through your profile. very nice. I just wanted to know what is :

taking a planned sabbatical to get some training
Thanks a ton, Rahul
If I am not wrong (might be a false friend with spanish), to take a sabbatical is to have some time without a job, a kind of volunteer unpaid holidays where you can improve skills, do private things and so on... that if you were working, you would not have the time to do

 yes i did that, i called up my friend she wants to get into show biz. I called her up from the land line and told her that the role she auditioned for has been shortlisted, i invited her to a close by restaurant(i told her that it was a formal meet at a cafe). She was unpleasantly surprised to see me, she yelled at me and said
