Code samples in Technical BLOG got trashed
-
The Asp.Net web site where I originate by BLOG updated to Orchard CMS. This caused 3 articles to be resubmitted to Code Project automatically. Someone approved them. Now the code has the originally formatting which doesn't work here. I couldn't find anyway to roll them back to the previous version. Is there a way to roll back to earlier versions? Thanks.

Actually they are exact duplicates of their originals, so I simply deleted the duplicates (the new posts). Thank you kindly for reporting this!
Thanks, Sean Ewington CodeProject

There weren't exact duplicates, I used CopyAsHTML to format the code in the original BLOG. When they get moved to Code Project I painfully reformat the code. (The markup was different). This one is still messed up: CSS3 box-shadow and Visual Studio Features[^] These two have the code correct but the images are gone. Secret Covert Hush-Hush White Space in the DOM…EXPOSED![^] Google and Bing Map APIs Compared[^] I think the asp.net web site moved the images: That should be easy for me to fix. Could I have deleted the new versions myself or is that an admin-only feature?

I've rescued the formatting on the one, and fixed the images on another. I can see you working away at the third. And once your technical blog entry has been approved, you can then delete it.

Thanks Sean. >>I can see you working away at the third. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix the third article. Secret Covert Hush-Hush White Space in the DOM…EXPOSED![^] I tried editing the article directly and copying the HTML to notepad, working on that and then pasting it back in. In both cases the article gets corrupted. Apparently I am too stupid to use the Code Project editor. Or perhaps there is another explanation. >> And once your technical blog entry has been approved, you can then delete it. That doesn't make sense to me. Hopefully, you can also fix the third article. Thanks again, Steve Wellens

I did indeed fix it. I am always happy to do so.
