Are you in D.C.? An old collage friend recently moved to the area and all he does now is complain about the weather(he is from Phoenix). But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams. - Yeats

Hehe have you moved to North Yorkshire by any chance? ;) Just a few miles from my hometown (Bishop Auckland) they routinely get 5-10ft snowdrifts across the main roads in Winter... Anna :rose: www.annasplace.me.uk

Ha! We had an ice storm Saturday night/Sunday morning, and now we have flurries (hence - it is still below freezing, therefore the ice won't melt.) About 1/5 of the city has no electricity. Mine went out last night at about 8:00 pm, and took the heat out with it. I'm at work now, with heat, electricity, and Internet. Maybe I'll just camp out here tonight. ;) I guess the good thing is that since it is so cold in the house, even though my fridge is out, it won't matter. :-D You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

Speaking of snow, one of the reasons that made me happy coming :) to the US was to check out some snow (I know some ppl out there buried in snow, and shovelling snow from their cars would laugh). But damn ! here I landed on the west coast in LA and I have to drive down to the nearby mountains to check it out. Carved upon my stone, My body lies but still I roam...

That is nothing, my dic... errr, there is way more snow here!" And of course you get the obligatory: lauren, 32 degrees today here in Cape Town, damned hot. ;) Enjoy the snow! Get pictures!
