      As I know Canada was never been occupation why they have an independence day :confused:

      It's the anniversary of the Constitution Act of 1867 that united New Brunswick, the Province of Canada and Nova Scotia into a single federation.  The POC was split into two provinces, Ontario and Quebec. /ravi
