Atcherley, "Labor" is the correct spelling, because it's a US holiday. I've no idea what the holiday's about, though. Is "Labor" a Cherokee word, or something?

Nope according to some random internet page it is to celebrate the contribution to society by US Labour .

Really? So the Cherokee word for "labour" is "labor"? Wow, what a coincidence. If you mispronounce "labor" (it looks like it should be pronounced "la bore"), they even almost sound the same.
