Looking for suggestions / help on hosting my site on google app engine

Hi all, I am happy to find this site. I am not s programming expert. I've been looking for a reliable affordable host for my small photography site. I came across google app engine and managed to get a test site live on it. I'm wondering if this is a good option for a host? I'm interested in using bootstrap for design but not sure it will work on there. Also interested in trying to get wordpress running on there but it looks a little complicated. Do you guys think google app engine is a good place to host a web-site, is it sufficient? Thank you for your help, Ian
