Using Win2000 I'm francophone, when I email and use boards and other discussion, I use the canadian french keyboard; when I program, I use the US english layout. Is there a way to automatically tell Win2k to start outlook and explorer using the french keyboard layout ? and start VisualStudio using the US layout ? Also, Is there a way to copy the content of a "window explorer" window and paste it as text in a file, to get a listing of the files ? this has been bothering me for some time. Thanks. Max.

Hi, Dim intResponse intResponse = MsgBox(Dir("C:\*.*"), vbOKCancel) If intResponse = 2 Then Exit Sub Do i = MsgBox(Dir, vbOKCancel) If i = 2 Then Exit Do Loop This is a bit rough and ready, but you can easily customize it to not display the files in a msgbox but to write them to a file with Open "file.fil" For Append as #1 You will also have to manually change the path, but you can easily make a front end around this. Hope it helps. Paul ;)
