Watched a video this morning of how some beasts (Boko Haram) slaughtered men one after the other (after making then line up; I can't even TRY sharing the video here). It also happened years ago during the reign of Hitler but I thought men should have gotten wiser. Why do we let some mentally insane idiots dazzle religion in front of us and we go haywire (all for their own gain)? What a wicked world we live in.

I doubt people have really changed that much in the last 20,000 years - our technology is better but we're still fundamentally the same creature. It is comforting to think that "times have changed" or "we're more civilised now" though isn't it, even if it's not really true? :)
