Nothing planned. I'm going to take a breather for a bit, get my CV in order, finish off all the personal projects I've been doing (as those should look good for a CV) and then get applying. The difficult thing now is telling people that I've resigned (as I only really discussed it with a few close friends) - I have no idea how my family (or housemate) will react -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

First time? Handing in your notice is a funny thing. Its at this point you find out what people think of you. Good luck. benjymous wrote: any programming jobs going in the midlands? Nope. Good luck - I believe it's better up there at the moment than in the South East anyway. :)

Good luck Thanks. :rose: Yeah, I know that there aren't that many jobs going around at the moment, but I was almost certain that I'd have been a gibbering wreck fairly soon had I not just left. Besides, I don't mind the idea of just doing some kind of simple temp work for a while - I just feel I really need a break. I guess if the worst comes to the worst, I'll just crack into my savings, and make that visit to my Cousin in South Africa that I've always wanted to make :) -- Help me! Good luck! I've never quite managed to get into a position where I could do without a salary coming in for a little while. One day... Anna :rose: www.annasplace.me.uk
