Hi, I have implemented some code from member below using his fantastic code and all seems to work well except that when loading the data xml file it doesnt assign the image index in which is pulled from a folder where all images are imported. The xml seems to hold the image index number ok. In other words no icon for imported node but is specified in xml. Members Code used 283086 Code Url used: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/8630/Using-Serialization-to-Persist-TreeView-Control-VB Can anyone please shed any light on this? cheers in advance.

You already know what the article is, so why haven't you asked your question in the forum at the end of the article? That's usually the best place to ask questions about articles.

In a site with thousands of articles and millions of members, do you think: a) we've had the chance to read each and every article or b) the author will happen on by this question and see it or c) we'll take time out of busy schedules to download the code, study it, test it and come up with an answer for you and formulate a reply
