Didn't miss it at all: if I get 1B, then there is a single "A" in the solution. The only other option is 0B0W which says there is no 'A' So the next post is either "ABBBBBBB" or "BBBBBBBB" depending. If it's "ABBBBBBB" I can get: 1) 1B - A in first column, no "B" 2) 1W - A not in first column, no "B" 3) 2B - A in first column, has a B 4) 2W - A not in first column, B in first column. 5) 1B1W - Contains an A and a B, locations undecided. And so so...
