Be polite to Siri?
-
I am always tempted to say please when I attempt (usually unsuccessfully) to use Siri or the Google voice recogniser. Is it just me or should these bots/applications or whatever they are be designed with polite manners in mind? I may not last forever but the mess I leave behind certainly will. We are philosophical about power outages here. A.C. come, A.C. go.

Such a great motto for Johannesburg.

My mother used to say "Good manners cost nothing" But then, she used to say "If a strange man offers you sweeties to get in his car, GO!" so it may not be a good recommendation.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

When they take over the world, Siri will probably be our boss. Being polite to her from the beginning would appear to be a good idea.
Ah! But then we will be able to give incorrect answers and misunderstand instructions. Can't wait... We're philosophical about power outages here. A.C. come, A.C. go.

I prefer the other variation... Be careful which foot you step on today, it might be the foot that will kick your ass tomorrow.
M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.
