Well with the FBI saying Ms. Clinton did not intend to break the law so no charges will be brought, I think others should use this defense. So the guy who rapes a child says he did not intend to break the law... When working on a government contract, I know that if I had sent one work email from a personal server they would throw me in jail, then see if I did anything wrong.

What I read into this is that Clinton is being set up to be president and this is just one 'unfortunate' event that needs wiping out of the way in order for her to become president. If you have half an hour to spare this chap goes through[^] some of the findings of the FBI report. It seems like someone may have put pressure on the FBI not to prosecute even though the FBI itself admits that all evidence points towards the necessity of a prosecution.

There's no point in prosecuting her: she's rich and famous. She'd never be convicted... :sigh:

Guess why she wants more gun control? If she disarms citizens and bends the law system to her favour she becomes completely above the law and above any responsibility to her subjects the Country's citizens.

Corruption is expected. What I find more amazing is that voters are apparently willing to ignore it.

The Roman kingdom was corrupt. The Roman republic was corrupt. The Roman empire was corrupt. The various Italian mini-states were corrupt. (And for all I know, the Etruscans, Samnites, etc. were also corrupt.) You have well over 2,000 years of corrupt government; surely you're used to it by now? :)

The Roman local government IS the most corrupted in the country. The Roman current magistrature IS corrupted to the point that Silvio Berlusconi was acquitted of the charge of having bought the result of a court because it is a known and long standing custom. Every local administration is more or less corrupted, even in 1.500 inhabitants cities (I know it first person). Yes, we're sadly used to it, expect it, and when the occasion present itself almost everyone corrupts or get corrupted - after all there is no use for integrity in a nation where almost everyone is crooked.

Just proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that US politics (the Democrats in this particular case) are just as corrupt and downright scummy as we fear. Time to press the flush handle. Johnson/Weld 2016[^]

I don't think US politics or the Democrats are the problem (well they are in this specific case but heh!) The problem is politicians in general. Best thing is to get them all to resign like Cameron, Johnson and Farage (still waiting on Corbyn...).
