Windows phone 10 rant

Somehow the phone screen got split into two. The lock screen was only half visible. I waster a good minute getting it back to occupy the full screen. And I don't know how it got back. Talk about Ux issues. And yes, I'm one of those fools who still continues to use a Windows phone.

I think you activated the one-handed mode[^] (what a weird name). I've never used it though, as I could reach the entire screen area even with one hand. But some people swear by it to be a very nice feature.

I think you ended up yourself in the One-hand mode (happens when you long press Start button). Just tap on the empty half to turn it off - From another fool who still continues to use a Windows phone :)
Looks like all of us 3 Windows phone users of the world are part of CP, and are online at the same time! :omg:

How do you like the phone overall? I'm thinking about moving over to one since I won't buy Apple products and I am concerned about recent firey Samsung design flaws.

Personally, I love my Windows Phone. Haven't moved to 10 yet, still using 8. Between the members of my family we cover all the bases, and having used all 3, I think the Windows UI is the friendliest. So, please keep on using that Windows Phone.

Personally, I think there is nothing major wrong with Windows 10 or Nokia. Minor UI glitches but overall its a good phone. Pity they've sold out and closed (sort of).

Then don't :) There are a lot of usability improvements in 10, but built-in apps are much less stable then those on 8. Also new Map app is worse then Here Maps :(
