Tenacity In Development (more than genius)
-
New Dev Experience After over 20 years of doing windows development and a couple years of Android, I have now jumped into iOS dev. It's interesting, because it's another new language (Swift) and OS and set of APIs and dev environment (XCode). Tenacity With software dev I often find that the most valuable thing is tenacity (some people call it grit or determination). Just don't give up. I'm now reading a fantastic book on the subject and thought I would share. From the introduction the book is really great. See why Tenacity is better than Genius. Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance: Angela Duckworth: Amazon.com: Books[^] Have any of you read the book?
My book, Launch Your Android App, is available at Amazon.com.

Josh Smith, has done a lot with this technology. I think he has focused on this, as of late. His stuff can be found on this site, but you may find this helpful as well. iJoshSmith[^] iOS for .NET Devs | iJoshSmith[^] (edit) I have not read the book, but it looks interesting.
