Well he is only "up" according to him and all of his recommended polls. According to my feed, his campaign has finally started to get through to him that he needs to consider the reality that he was in fact totally punked by the DNC. Therefore, he is down. Not for the count, but whatever. We are screwed either way.
Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet. The interesting thing about software is it can not reproduce, until it can.

This is not true in the US, as we do not use popular vote to elect a president. Note a candidate can win the popular vote and lose the electoral vote. Also as demonstrated by the some in the Republican party, the will of the people means nothing. Only the will of those in power.
