Bad: saw it coming that it was about a "Terrorist" charity WTF: If Saddam has links to al-Quaida, GTF sure must have, too! War: Good that, before the US kills all it's values, it tries to carry them to another country for safekeeping X|

You do realize that if the world had (or really cared about) every little one of Germany's on-goings and nit-picked on it, I'm sure we'd all have plenty of details to bitch about. If CPians are supposed to be so damned smart then how come most of them can't see past bias, prejudices, local propaganda, etc. That's the real shame - nobody thinks. From way up high (leaders) to way down low (common folk), there are stupid people. Jeremy Falcon "so be it, threaten no more, to secure peace is to prepare for war" - Metallica

The only problem being that the link to al queida is one al-queida member *giving* to the charity. But this is a minor detail, I guess...

Yup, not to say I haven't been guilty of it in the past (well, maybe present to), but I don't attribute my distaste of it to some sorta self-hate, psychological explanation. But rather, I've seen more people here of late - who I considered smart in their fields - speak with such loose thought. I know emotion clouds all logic, and in the end everyone is looking out for their own and/or someone they care about best interest. And, generally people can't see "outside the box." etc. and so forth... I mean in the end we're all human; it's just a letdown to see some things happen. If this is bitching, you never heard me doing it  Umm... o my wise CPian, how do you determine the color of a rabbit, when one tells you "the rabbit is white", the other "the rabbit is black" and the thrid "there is no rabbit"?

Not if it may jeopardize current or future investigations. Let's say Mr. Hawash made a few critical errors in hiding his connection with terrorism. Doesn't it make sense to not release those errors publicly until you've had time to see if anyone else made the same errors? If you want to try to make sense of police actions - you must think like them. Mike Mullikin
