After all the accusations, grandstanding, and name calling, it is finally here. The choice is not easy. The day will tell. If elected will Ms. Clinton still be the politician she is? (More of the same tax and spend) If elected will Mr. Trump try and run the country like a business? (You cannot cut your losses and move on) The next four years shall prove interesting. I hope whomever wins will start to listen to the general public and not the politicians. The people elected Republicans to congress to do what was promised, but when elected the politicians did what they wanted, not what the people wanted.

I voted. I voted for Republicans. I voted for Democrats. I voted for Libertarians. I voted against congressional obstructionism as stagnation leads to annihilation. I voted against rank-and-file politicians as we need independent minds in D.C. and state legislatures, not people that only do what they are told. I voted against candidates that reverted to pre-teen behavior when they could not convince us that they were a better choice for the job. I voted my conscious. I voted for what I believed in.

I voted so that I have the right to spend the next 4 years b!tching about politics

I voted a couple of weeks ago. Ohio sent out a form to get a mail in ballot. So I did not get an "I Voted Today" sticker and cannot get my free (soft) drink... :( :-D

Voting 3 times? Is this the electoral fraud that Trump is worried about?

To quote an old Chicago political statement "Vote early, vote often." Actually, I voted for what I believed were the best candidates for the job which was not limited to a particular party affiliation.

My wife asked me an interesting question the other night. She asked "No matter who gets elected [Clinton or Trump], do you think they'll make to the end of their term?" My reply was thus: Nope. If Hillary gets elected, she'll try to take all the guns away, and end up getting shot for it. If Trump wins, he'll continue his crusade against the Muslims, and some extremist will blow him up. So I'm not really worried about the next four years. Both main party candidates are insane enough to try stunts that are stupid enough to get themselves killed. NSA/DHS disclaimer: I have no interest in doing it myself. But I'm certainly excited to watch it happen!

I was surprised now one tried during the campaign to assassinate one of the two. You have a point. I hope that the next four years are uneventful.
