I had a very traumatic experience just now. Here in our apartment complex we have a laundry room with separate washers and dryers. And I had put my clothes in for washing and later I went down again and put the washed clothes into the dryer. So far so good, everything normal. About 20 minutes ago I go down there to take back my dried clothes and I was first struck my a peculiar sight. My clothes had been collected and put on top of the drier. Very strange sight it was as it had never happened before. Stranger still was the fact that the drier was empty, so it wasnt as if someone else wanted to use the drier. And my clothes were still warm. I just put them all into my clothes bag and brought it up. Suddenly I noticed something missing and was horrified to see that the towel was missing. I am feeling very sad and upset about this. The towel does not really matter but the incident matters a lot. If there are pathetic fuckers here who can stoop as low as to steal a towel I hate to think of what other perverted activities these assholes will be capable of. It's a sad sick pathetic world we are living in... Nish

Unfortunately, it's never a good idea to leave your laundry in a public place. Even though it's in your complex, the same rule still applies. :( Sorry to hear that you live around pathetic losers.

I have a more peculiar one - someone once actually stole my cat's collar! (It had a snap-in clip, so I doubt greatly that it just fell off.)

I once stayed at a motel with a sign on the door "Don't use our towels to wipe your car". So you can probably find out who did this by observing your neighbors, whose car just becomes a lot cleaner ;-)

First. Take a deep breath and relax, ok Nish? It could all be a mistake. Awhile back I was using a public laundromat. Put everything in for drying and left my laundry bag ontop of the drier. I come back and my drie washing is on top of the drier and it is empty. Suddenly I realise my laundry bag is gone. WTF? No, not a sock, not even a towel, but a laundry bag. Hardly a useful thing to steal. I came back a few days later to find someone had stuck it on the notice board with a note saying "Apologies, got mixed up in my washing!" Generally clothe theives steal all your washing, not just one item (and hardly a towel.) So someone probably got it mixed up in theirs. Stealing a towel is hardly a sign that the world is full of devils either. p.s. That is the first time I have ever seen you swear.

In fact even after waking up I still don't feel very good about it. Anyway as you said it might have been a genuine mistake or someone might simply have thought that someone else (me in this instance) would not miss a single towel. From now on, I'll be a little more careful. Nish

Unfortunately, it's never a good idea to leave your laundry in a public place. Even though it's in your complex, the same rule still applies. :( Sorry to hear that you live around pathetic losers.

Anyway I guess I better time myself in future and go stand there about 2-3 mins before the cycle ends. Nish

Nish
