Ah, so it's the advertising and personal data collection & sale that you miss, what else is fb any good for since it sold out to business and advertising and personal data collection for sale to the highest bidders. Of course there are the pictures what people are having for lunch and dinner every damn day, and every baby, cat and dog that lives on their street.

Nope, not on my Facebook. You sound like you have boring friends.

OK, also true some Aussies do use the lounge as their personal facebook, but luckily most visitors are smarter than that.

Never seen an Aussie do that, brits however yes.

Here it is: the lounge is not supposed to be like facebook, and inasmuch shouldn't be compared with it.

I didnt compare it. Read again.

Sounds like their next marketing slogan.

"the debugger doesn't tell me anything because this code compiles just fine" - random QA comment "Facebook is where you tell lies to your friends. Twitter is where you tell the truth to strangers." - chriselst "I don't drink any more... then again, I don't drink any less." - Mike Mullikins uncle

Did SA supplant the original "He Who Must Not Be Named"?

The forums that I normally frequent here appear to be dying a slow, painful death. So, as I like to answer questions, I've been watching QA for a while to see what the tone is like of the people who are answering questions there. I have to say, things have certainly improved in there lately. So, I posted a couple of answers and that's been fine. The question I have to ask though, what happened to SAK?

Unlike many who decide to leave (and later return) he seems done have done it without a rant.

No idea who SAK is so it must have been before my time but I enjoy teaching others and always have. This is why I try to not only give answers but also explain why their idea didn't do what they expected. Teach your fellow man for one day that knowledge may be returned ten-fold when you need it the most  Progress is a group effort.

Nah...insults people, posts links to his previous answers to unrelated questions, and tells you that his answer is better that yours, mostly.

OK you aroused my curiosity enough to make me go look for him. I guess it's the guy's initials that are mentioned? He does seem to have a lot of time on his hands to comment on everybody's answers. It's funnier if you imagine his comments in a Russian accent.
