Aren't you getting help for hosting kids?

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Not really. Yes, you get some money but it's not enough to cover everything. Fostering is not a way to make money. Yes, I've seen examples where it has happened but I'm not sure how they did it. Pretty sure feeding them Ramen everyday is part of how you do it, if they are fed at all. And, as I already pointed out, that you seem to be missing, when you adopt they pay you every month until the kid turns 18. I don't know how much it is compared to when you foster. They also get free healthcare and free tuition for college (at least in Georgia, not sure about other states.)

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who can extrapolate from incomplete data. There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Anyone who's doing it just to make money probably shouldn't be allowed to foster. :)

I'll make sure they add that to the list of questions they ask people. ;)
