Sergey T. to the rescue again: [^]. cheers, Bill

«When I consider my brief span of life, swallowed up in an eternity before and after, the little space I fill, and even can see, engulfed in the infinite immensity of spaces of which I am ignorant, and which know me not, I am frightened, and am astonished at being here rather than there; for there is no reason why here rather than there, now rather than then.» Blaise Pascal

I just grab calc.exe from the older versions of Windows. No need to deal with some dubious third-party MSI installer.

Thanks for the link. It worked just fine. BTW: After you run the installer, you will find calc.exe in your windows\system32 folder. It will probably be named calc1.exe, because the Windows 10 calculator is named calc.exe (in the same folder.)

Thanks for the link. It worked fine. BTW: It installs the executable as calc1.exe in your windows\system32 folder, because your Windows 10 calculator is installed in the same folder as calc.exe. If you compare the icons for the two versions side by side, you can clearly see how MS uglifies later apps to meet their bland guidelines for productivity apps.

Or just type your calculation into Google and let them calculate it for you - save your processing power for something useful (minefield?)
