I have a question about setting up a WINS server. I have created a Windows 2000 AD domain and was using a LMHOSTS file so the pcs on my network would easily find the domain controller. I have a mix of NT 4, Win2k Pro and XP Pro boxes. Anyways I decided to set up a wins server to make it easier to manage. The problem is that I replaced the company primary wins server with my wins server and now the pcs cannot see the other domains from the company wins server. I know there is a push / pull feature but my server does not have the permissions to connect to the company wins server in this way. I also know they would not give me that permission. Is there any way around this? John
