I think you're better off getting a regular office chair (more variety and better prices) and a small rug[^] (not chair mat).  Keep the chair on the rug to prevent it from moving too much.  That's what I do at home. /ravi

I'm looking for something less bulky. I've seen the chairs that recline, I just don't have a name.

Are there any stationary chairs (no wheels) that offer reclining or tilting capabilities?

Typical "forum answering with another question" : Why no wheels ?

I don't like rolling while working. If I can find a chair without wheels that reclines and swivels, great. I've only seen ones that recline though.

Haven't seen you for a while. How are you doing?

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question? The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism. Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

No, just a short visit to check on you all. I'm pretty good thanks, keeping busy! :-D

These are pricey but of excellent quality. You can get them without casters. Office Chairs[^]

Our local hospital has them in the emergency rooms.
