I enjoyed it when developing algorithms because it has nothing on screen, it helps my concentration. There's only me and the algorithm and there can only be one survivor, no witnesses. For anything more complex than a medium sized C or assembler file it becomes less comfortable, and it has nothing that Notepad++ doesn't have on Windows.
