Uh... are you asking for an explanation? "Thoughts" = ideas "without the first letter" - the "first letter" is "a", so take the "a" out of "ideas", and you're left with "ides" "of" = of "the month" = March "a day for a killing" = the answer, the Ides of March, when Julius Caesar was killed. [edit] - I should perhaps have capitalised "First Letter", but still....

Knowing what day it was, I did get the Ides part and March in the "of the month" part. It was the of I couldn't where it came from. I see it was in the plain text now. Thank you.
