Old messages inaccessible?
-
I was going through some old emails with links to Forum conversations, and I tried to follow the link to an old C# Forum discussion. Re: Is there a better way in Rx? - C# Discussion Boards[^] It took me just to the first page of the C# Forum. I tried searching using the title:
HEFFRON AND Is there a better way in Rx
and filtering on Forum messages, General programming, C# I got back a list of hits that included the correct conversation, including the partial quotes, but following those, again, got me only the first page of the C# Forum. (Also, now the Layout Style had been changed to Open All. Odd!) Why am I unable to go to the older conversations? (In this case, less than 2 years old.)"Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed." - G.K. It seems to be OK now. There were a couple of database error at the time, probably due to the site being crawled simultaneously by several bots. This may have prevented the older messages from being retrieved. We are currently looking at several store procedures to see if we can speed things up a bit.
