The word gender is still in use. "Gender identity" is the gender you feel to be, which may or not match your current gender. If I am right (as I said earlier, I may be wrong), there are currently 2 possible genders, male or female. If you are of a gender but feel you are the other, then you may suffer from a condition similar to a mental illness. If you are of a gender but feel you are of a gender that does not exist, then you are definitely suffering from a mental illness (or just an attention whore). This is my opinion, and like any other opinion, I may be wrong.

Well they had a semi major star and she got chased away. No other star will want to go near it now. Without a star they probably won’t make the movie - which was apparently sympathetic to the trans viewpoint -at all. Well that’s a big win for the movement! Idiots!

There was a reasonable film made just under 20 years ago called Boys Don't Cry with Hilary Swank that portrays a woman trying to live as a man. It's by no means a brilliant film but is worth watching. How the world has changed since then, when nowadays difficult topics and the brutality of some cannot be discussed without the whole thing turning into a farcical identity politics argument where only those who claim to be in a particular group are free to speak on sensitive areas.
