Dialogs

I asked my friend to book tickets for a movie today. I just noticed, He had messaged me this: We got 6:45pm & 7:00pm shows. What's your preference? This reminds me of two things. 1.The useless dialog prompts dumb softwares pop up. 2.The slacking developers, who doesnt want to get something done on time. Will drop a question while leaving for the day. Next day when I assume the work is done, he would continue from the question. :omg: :-D For the original movie timing options my friend gave, I replied: "Mate, this is so unfortunate. Please see if there's a show available @ 6:47 or 6:48, else lets drop the plan"

Here in the UK it would be "We have 2pm today or 8pm next week".

Be grateful you're not in the Channel Islands:
Alderney Cinema showing films in the Channel Islands[^]:
From April to October, the cinema shows three or four current film releases a month, but in the winter, when fewer visitors are around, the number drops to two or three a month.
