In the interest of fairness: Exactly how many dollars did Obama "claw back" from the hundreds of millions of dollars given as bonus to Wall Street executives for their roles in the multi-billion dollar rescue of Bear Sterns, etc, which used tax-payer money and the investors didn't have to risk a penny?

In the interest of fairness, Obama has nothing to do with anything related to that. He wasn't an investigator or a lawyer in the Justice department. The laws that existed, at the time, were put in place before he was a president. And probably quite a while before he was even significant in the political scene. Not to mention of course that the ideological necessity of prosecutorial negotiations with defendants is something that has been going on for probably hundreds of years. Certainly before he was even born. Matter of fact the Federal Reserve Bank isn't even really a governmental agency. Which is something many conspiracy theory advocates love to point out. But the governance that does exist falls under Congress and not the President. And unless I am mistaken the bailout was provided before Obama even took office. Which would mean that the investigation was proceeding then as well. But perhaps you we referring specifically to something else.
