... or is blatantly lying about it: [Trump gets ruthlessly mocked after he humiliates himself with an utterly ‘clueless’ rant about tariffs](https://www.rawstory.com/2019/05/trump-gets-ruthlessly-mocked-after-he-humiliates-himself-with-an-utterly-clueless-rant-about-tariffs/)

He’s not lying he’s just stupid

Before the oath, Trump has managed to surpass 2nd term Nixon for paranoia, 2nd term Reagan for corruption & 2nd term Bush for incompetence.--R. Schooley Frank Wilhoit: “Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition …There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.” The president fired the FBI director to obstruct a federal investigation into possible collusion with a foreign power to fix an election. - Jesse Berne

Of the 2 possibilities, it is the most probable.

Sorry, I forgot...someone tweeting something is worthy of contempt but someone costing tens of thousands of jobs and depriving an area of wealth doesn't really merit complaining about.

If that's what she was trying to stop why did she never bring it up? Why did she say the tax break money could be better spent on other things?

Don't know. But what do you think of taxpayers money financing projects for Amazon? They are rich enough to finance it themselves.

Now that's funny. You actually think a first term congresswoman has that much power. No wonder wingnuts find her so scary.

They are rich enough, that's a benefit of not paying taxes. They're also rich enough to build a plant anywhere they want, so if you don't sweeten the deal they can take that income and those jobs elsewhere.

It works the other way. Not paying taxes is a benefit of being rich.
