is underway! And amazingly enough, it's fairly clear here in Rhode Island (an annoying haze though is developing). Still, my 12 year old son is quite excited. Anyone else up to see it? Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.

All that you touch All that you see All that you taste All that you feel All that you love All that you hate All you distrust All that you save All that you give All that you deal All that you buy beg, borrow or steal All you create All you destroy All that you do All that you say All that you eat everyone you meet All that you slight everyone you fight All that is now All that is gone All that's to come and everything under the sun is in tune but the sun is eclipsed by the moon. I couldn't resist. The tune just kept go through my head. BW "I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific." - Lily Tomlin

John Honan wrote: "Seen the monks" - Is that a phrase you use when you've been out all night? Yep. It's more a foreigner's thing but it's still cute. Because there's a slight reliious angle to it, you feel slightly guilty staggering home when the monks are out gathering alms but I've never let it bother me :-)

The moon rose here at sunset, and it was within 30 minutes of totality then. Gorgeous sight, so eerie looking, so I tried to get a few shots of it for those on CP who missed it. Unfortunately the light level was too low for the camera to capture anything, even at f5.6 and 8 seconds exposure.:( Maybe next time. Nonetheless it was fun, with everyone regularly halting the dart match to dash outside and check the progress. I think they still hold some primeval fear that it won't come back...
