I'm trying to setup a private VS extension gallery on a local drive (we can't connect to the inetrnet from our dev boxes). I created a folder hierarchy like so:

    VSExtensions
    |
    |----- 2015

Inside the 2015 folder, I added two files: nuget.tools.vsix and an atom feed file, which looks like this:

    AEF Extension Gallery
    PRIV..591c105e-bd42-4008-bcef-d822c1bd7607
    2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
    5fcc8577-4feb-4d04-ad72-d6c629b083cc
        Nuget Package Manager
        v3.6.0
        2015-02-17T15:00:00Z
        2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
        Microsoft

        5fcc8577-4feb-4d04-ad72-d6c629b083cc
            1.31

I pulled the entry's id from the vsix file's .pkgdef file. When I go into VS2015, and click Tools | Extensions and Updates, the private gallery shows up, but VS doesn't find the vsix file (it shows "No items found"). What am I doing wrong? EDIT ============================== I found my issue. I had pulled the ID out of the pkgdef file, which was a mistake. The ID actually exists in the .vsixmanifest file. Once I changed that, everythign was golden.
