Over and over and over again? Or is closing the Soapbox your way of addressing climate change?

It's about time it went. It used to be interesting but now it has degenerated into troll battles which get less interesting or relevant with every post and counter post. Cut it loose Chris!

I wonder if the old "SoapBox 1.0" is closing also...? I cancelled my "membership" to it about a year ago hoping to find a higher level of pointed discussions here in the mainstream public Soapbox. No such luck... :sigh:

The Beer Prayer - Our lager, which art in barrels, hallowed be thy drink. Thy will be drunk, I will be drunk, at home as it is in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, and forgive us our spillage as we forgive those who spill against us. And lead us not to incarceration, but deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, the bitter and the lager, for ever and ever. Barmen.

Or could it be a reaction to someone attacking a child in the forum? I believe the purpose of Codeproject is something completely different.

I wonder what will become of the non-technical pages of this site like the lounge? Will they start filling up with soapbox material? We'll see.

I was attacking those using the child as a political toy. I thought that much was at least obvious.

I don't think so, those places are going to be more "protected", if it is tried, I suppose that there will be some closing of accounts.

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.
