... we can look forward to some stability for the next few years. Whether it is good or bad stability remains to be seen.

Boris, yea! You gotta love 'im! Perhaps.

Hopefully. But as an official member of the Cynical Old Hector association, I suspect the Tory MPs who want Remain will start squabbling with head office soon ... but this is getting very close to soapbox territory, so I'll stop there.

Yes, it's difficult not to isn't it? I'll just do one more shirtless lap of the office. ;) Where has the soapbox gone btw? I'm horribly out of date on things CP. I used to use it for updates on Climate Science.

It finally succeeded in doing what it had been trying to do for ages, and disappeared up its own black hole. (It had become such a cesspit of climate trolling that Chris shut it down for good.)

Not going to happen. This was the British people showing the government that we won’t tolerate any of them going against what we’ve already voting for. Any remain-leaning Tory mp’s will have already done a full circle and will now be “let’s get it done” after seeing Swinson, grieve, umana and sodbury lose there jobs last night. Farage aside, none of them have any real conviction beyond self-preservation.

I'm staying zipped on that one - that's soapbox territory plain and simple. :-D

They’re ain’t no soapbox and that rule is only there to stop flame wars which only occur with the American flavour of politics. Politics the day after a vote has always been tolerated. Plus the trolls are long gone to other bridges

Too bad we don't have a forum where we can discuss this excellent news, in more depth. We should probably create a new forum for these types of discussions. Might put a recommendation in bugs and sugs. :-D
