I though that a kilo is the weight of 1 lt of water, aka 3.03 cans of coke. Or was it defined the other way around? Anyway, all units has been redifined relatively to light waves lengths or plank' number. The unquestionable constants of nature, which someone yesterday says that it's not really constant. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Memory leaks is the price we pay \0 01234567890123456789012345678901234

Apart from the fact the the 'kilogram' is a mass unit and not weight. A mass of one 'killogram' will weigh about 9.8 Newtons on earth (depending on where you are...) and about 1.63 Newtons on the moon. Gil, who knows too much physics for his own good.

Perhaps the mass of the cylinder is not decreasing then. Maybe it's the gravitational pull of the earth that's decreasing. Maybe we'll all float off to space sometime, and the moon will go careering across the solar system, taking out Mars in the process and ending once-and-for-all any speculation about whether life exists there. :) Or maybe I've been having too much medication :~ Ryan Being little and getting pushed around by big guys all my life I guess I compensate by pushing electrons and holes around. I thought it was the English measuring system. However, only America still uses it exclusively. --
