Has anyone bought the Action Pack here? And, if so could you tell me about the CDs it comes with? I was thinking about buying it to get Windows 2003 Server cheaply. I was wondering though is it the same CD as the retail version, but with different licensing? Thanks, Jeremy Falcon

My dad bought the Action Pack, and AFAIK the retail version of whatever server comes with it. Ours included (at the time - a bit old now) Office XP (5 licenses), Windows 2k (5 lic.), Windows 2k Adv Server (1 lic. ??), BackOffice Server 2k, SQL Server 2k, Exchange Server 2k, Microsoft Visio (5 lic.), Frontpage (5 lic. ugh), Project 2k (5 lic.), and a few other titles - don't remember them all. Hope that helps :-D Paul ;) I have been afraid always. When you see something insurmountable ahead of you, say to yourself: "All right! I am afraid. I have it, and it's fully functional versions :) I guess it's the same CD as the retail version, but with another print (MS Partner) on... - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!"

MSPublisher manages to produce HTML output that renders something almost, but not quite completely unlike what you originally intended every time. Quite an acheivement, even for Microsoft!:-D On the other hand, Visual InterDev works perfectly so long as you use it as a text editor and avoid all of its advanced features.

Yesterday I received my Visual Studio .NET 2003 upgrade. I was only expecting it to include VS .NET CDs but it also came with a box of server CDs. These included Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2k Adv Server, SQLServer 2000 Developer edition and some other CDs that I can't remember. I haven't installed any of these yet, but they look like the full editions and I don't suppose they will require a VS .NET 2002 CD/DVD before installing ;). Not bad for £19 (GBP) :). Gavin
