Hello All, I have started preparation for the MCAD Certification. Are there benefits for this cert? or does one get by with loads of experince and expertise. I have experience with Classic ASP and also ASP.NET (C# Flavor). My methods of prep are: SQL DESIGN Transcneder C# WEB APPS Transcender XML APP Transcender I guess my questions is, are there any others that have had any experiences good or not so good? Thanks Tony

I've heard good things about the transcenders but I've never used one other than a demo. They give you a good idea about what to expect. I passed all the exams as part of normal study plus experience. Just go over all the requirements to make sure you haven't left anything out.

You can always brush up and study the books and use Transcendar but for 70-100 or 70-300 I found experience was the key.

70-300 was tough for me. I had never failed a Microsoft exam but I failed the first time I took it. Some of the questions were very tricky or at least I thought so. I didn't have any problems the 2nd time though. I had different case studys and they were easier. I thought 70-100 was the toughest test I took for the old MCSD too.
